Visitors will find a boat launch at Dexter State Park just across the highway from Dexter Shores. The Marina and Boat Launch is locted across the Lake at Lowell.........Call Oregon State Parks for boat mooring info at 541-937-1173.
In the early morning when the Lake is still, you can often see and hear the University of Oregon rowing team in training.
Our helpful, friendly staff is always ready to assist you. The office has brochures of area and statewide attractions. We can arrange bus tours for groups as well as connect individuals to local tours. Within minutes of the park are lakes, streams, covered bridges and hiking trails and great scenery for photographers and artists. Fish in the Willamette river for trout, steelhead, and salmon and Dexter Lake for trout and bass.
