Originally built in 1857, this fieldstone "country castle" is nestled in the scenic hills of Northumberland County, and was at one time used as a summer retreat for wealthy Americans. The building was lovingly restored in 1981, such that rest, peace and tranquility are now found in a luxurious but comfortable ambience. Our inn overlooks 250 hectares (560 acres) of lush meadow and forest, and has a spectacular view of Lake Ontario.
