The Inn at Rutland is a distinctive Victorian mansion built in 1889 by William F. Burditt which has been carefully restored to its original elegant charm. The interior is rich with period architectural details, such as the warm leather wainscoting in the dining room, to the leaded glass window over the formal grand staircase.
The 2 common rooms offer a comfortable atmosphere for reading, relaxing or just a quiet conversation sitting by the hearth. Our rocking chair front porch provides a magnificent view of the sunset over the town and mountains.
