Winter - The Tavern Room windows glow with candlelight and the air is pungent with wood smoke. It is the kind of place that beckons you to hurry inside on a snowy night. The fireplaces blaze brightly and the candles cast flickering shadows.
Mt. Sunapee and Pat's Peak are all within minutes of the inn, snow shoe or cross country from the front door on our woodland trails. For the not-so-adventurous there's ice skating or a romantic sleigh ride nearby.
