| Recreation opportunities abound at Chief Logan State Park. A variety of game courts, including miniature golf, tennis, and basketball are offered for a nominal fee. A bocce court is also available. Don't worry if you forget your racquet, equipment may be rented at the game courts. |
The park swimming pool is open on a daily basis from Saturday, May 26, 2007 to Monday, September 3, 2007. The pool is popular with local citizens as well as guests because it features a modern water slide. A kiddie pool with fountain is available for our younger visitors. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission price is $4.50 for adults and $3.50 for children. After hours parties are from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Cost is $100 upon making reservation plus the cost of admission for each person. Call park office at 304-792-7125 to schedule special parties. |

Located in the heart of West Virginia's southern coalfields, Chief Logan State Park is four miles north of the town of Logan. The park and town share the name of the Chief of the Cayuga Tribe (also known as the Mingo tribe).
