In the late 60's Bristol Motor Speedway was nick named Thunder Valley due to the beautiful valley it was built in and all the racing thunder that has been created at every race since. Thunder Valley Campground was created and built by Randy Moore the son of Carl Moore, one of the original founders of the Bristol Motor Speedway. We strive to be the areas premier campground. Specializing in all race events at BMS and other specialized events such as family reunions, concerts, etc.
