The Jemez offers all types of activities.Miles of scenic trails and highways lead you through pristine wilderness with views around each bend. Valles Caldera National Preserve is just 15 minutes away. Wildlife includes one of the largest Elk populations in the world. Black Bear, Turkey, Bobcat, and Mountain lion are abundant but rarely seen. Miles of mountain streams and Fenton Lake offer fishing for German Brown trout and Rainbow trout. All kinds of Birds including Hummers, Raptors, Ravens, Stellar Jays, Evening Grosbeak, Wood Peckers, on and on. Located in the Beautiful Jemez Mountains of Northern New Mexico.
