• National Road – Commissioned by the Federal Government and started in 1811, it is the oldest national road. It was built of gravel and originated in Cumberland, Maryland. The road ended in Vandalia, Illinois, only 5 miles from the campground. We offer the total camping experience! From level pull thrus, to shaded, creek, or wood side seasonal sites. We have both cabins and tent sites right on the edge of the pond. There is fishing and boating in the stocked pond and swimming in the pool. 24-hour check-in is available and we are located just off the interstate. Open fires and alcohol are permitted in the park.
