Admiral Peary House Bed & Breakfast in Fryeburg. Our historic home was once the residence of the famous Arctic explorer renowned for his discovery of the North Pole, Admiral Robert E. Peary. Located on a quiet residential street in Fryeburg, the oldest village in the White Mountains of western Maine, the Admiral Peary House sits on ten beautiful acres. Surrounding the sprawling white victorian farm house, circa 1865, are spacious lawns, award-winning perennial gardens, and a superb red clay tennis court. Spring, Summer and Fall guests will enjoy a vast array of activities in the area, such as, hiking, antiquing, golfing, outlet shopping, boating, and, of course, playing tennis.
