Dream catcher Lodge is an exciting new landmark in Stephenville, NL. We have completely renovated and refurbished the lodge (formerly White's Hotel). Our newly trained and friendly staff will be more than happy to accommodate you with the traditional Newfoundland and Labrador hospitality we have become famous for. Our new owners / management's aim is not only to please you while you're here, but also to welcome you back again and again. Situated at the west end of Stephenville, the Dreamcatcher Lodge offers single/double rooms and smoking and nonsmoking efficiency units. Internet access is also provided. He is a pastry chef and uses local and organic free range eggs, and organic, whole grains for his baking. The jams are also made at Rosedale from local organic berries. Expect a healthy breakfast at Rosedale that is both tasty and filling. All the rooms have high quality furniture, hand crafted in Newfoundland. Have a restful sleep in our comfortable beds, with 100% cotton sheets, cotton blankets and locally handcrafted quilts. Expect the fresh smell of sheets dried in the wind on the line. Guest soaps are hand made here in Newfoundland.All guest rooms have separate heat controls, fans, and are lockable. Irish Loop Coffee House is located on the Main Highway in Witless Bay. Private internet kiosk is available with a panoramic view of the ocean. This coffee house has many other amenities such as shower service, homemade breads and cookies (oatcakes are our speciality).There is a hostel downstairs with 2 rooms that will appeal to hikers, bikers and backpackers. You can hear and see the ocean from your bedroom windows. The backyard is perfect for an outdoor picnic and is totally private. The view is spectacular. At night, when all is quiet in the village, you can hear the ocean roll. The rooms are new and very clean. Towels and shampoo are supplied. Reasonable rates.
