A Place by the Sea is an adult oriented deluxe waterfront Bed and Breakfast and Spa located in the tranquil coastal setting of beautiful Porpoise Bay. Our home is a cozy "cottage style" house with stunning panoramic views of Sechelt Inlet, extensive decks, a walk-on beach, and a private dock. Your hosts Nancy and Shay have enjoyed staying in many Bed and Breakfasts over the years and have recently renovated in order to incorporate some of the finest amenities to be found in any Bed and Breakfast.

Beautiful lakefront cabin on 7 acres of wooded property. Water or woods, relaxation or adventure. The choice is yours, but whichever you prefer, the sense of harmony that pervades this place will make it’s way into your soul. The inspiration to reconnect with a childhood sense of joy and wonder resides all around you. Sakinaw Lake Lodge is a classic Canadian cabin perched right on the shore of one of BC's most beautiful lakes. It features an upstairs suite with fully equipped kitchen and wood burning fireplace that sleeps 4 (king size and queen size bed) as well as two downstairs bedrooms (both with quenn sized beds). If you would like to be even closer to the outdoors we also have a luxury furnished tent that sits on it's own private deck. Altogether, the property can accommodate 10 people very comfortably. The Lodge also features an outdoor cooking area with gas stove and barbeque, multiple decks and docks with panoramic lake and mountain views, an outdoor hot tub, canoe and kayak, and firepit. If you enjoy being on the water you'll love cruising on our luxury pontoon boat or waterskiing/ wake boarding behind the ski boat. Sakinaw Lake is known for it's pristine, clear waters. It's wonderful for swimming, with summer water temperatures often reaching 26 degrees celsius.
